The Baby Gugguu Collection was created in collaboration with Minttu Räikkönen

Today, on November 7th, we get to release the Baby Gugguu collection, created in collaboration with Minttu Räikkönen.

Minttu has been part of Gugguu's story since 2018. When Minttu announced at the beginning of 2023 that Robin and Rianna would soon have a little sister or brother, it was immediately clear to all of us that we would design a Baby collection for Gugguu together. The biggest inspiration for the Gugguu Baby collection has thus been Minttu's little baby girl Grace, born in summer 2023. 

In spring 2023, we had the honor of organizing Babyshowers for Minttu, where we got to admire the first products of the collection. The event was full of delightful little details and a unique atmosphere! The Babyshowers brought together Minttu's friends, our partners, and Gugguu's customers.

The Babyshowers were held in Helsinki, in the premises of the old cadet school. The venue itself created a wonderful and atmospheric setting for the event. It felt like we got to peek into the little beautiful bubble of the expectant mother as we stepped into the space surrounded by clouds of balloons. The atmosphere was magical.

The event's delicious refreshments were conjured up by bakery Hyväkakku. Around the stunning floral art piece by flower shop Kukkamaaria, we got to taste gold-speckled macarons, cakes filled with soft mousse, and beautiful filled cookies finished with the Baby Gugguu logo. 

The first products of the Baby Gugguu collection were on display in the children's room at the Babyshowers, created in collaboration with Wauvakauppa. The Gugguu Baby collection consists of high-quality knitwear made in Finland, soft velour products, as well as rib, jersey, and sweatshirt items. In addition to baby products, the collection includes relaxed oversized sweat suits for "older siblings," which match beautifully with the little Gugguu Baby sweat suit.

The Babyshowers were crowned by Mikko Harju's touching performance with beautiful ballads. Mikko's amazing voice filled the space with delicate melodies, captivating everyone present in this beautiful moment.

With the lovely Babyshower memories and the little newborn baby girl, we wish Minttu and Kimi lots of happiness and Rianna and Robin countless fun moments with their little sister!
