Gugguun Candy World loyalty program terms and conditions
These terms apply to the contractual relationship concerning loyalty membership between consumer customers and Gugguu Oy.
By joining the Gugguu Candy World loyalty programme, you accept these terms.
1. Joining and customer information
Gugguu's Candy World loyalty programme is free of charge and valid until further notice.
Anyone aged 18 or over may join as a loyalty member on our website.
The information requested on the registration form must be completed correctly.
As a loyalty member, you have an account with Gugguu where you can view your purchases and edit your contact details. You also have a personal loyalty member page where you can view your accumulated points = Marshmallows, your Marshmallow history and your Candy World tier.
Please remember to update your contact details if they change.
You can update your customer information in the online store by logging in to your customer account.
Since all our communications take place digitally, you must provide an email address when joining Gugguu's Candy World loyalty programme. You are responsible for keeping your email address and contact details up to date.
2. Identifying yourself as a loyalty member
In the online store, loyalty members are identified by logging in to their customer account. Please always remember to log in when shopping in our online store so that you earn Marshmallows from your purchases. Gugguu Candy World loyalty membership is personal, and cannot be transferred to another person. Each person may have only one loyalty membership and registered email address. You are also responsible for the activity on your loyalty account and for ensuring that only you have access to your login details.
3. Benefits and offers
As a member of the Gugguu Candy World loyalty programme, you will receive personalised communications containing both personal and general benefits and loyalty offers. You will also receive product recommendations, news and inspiration about our products.
4. Loyalty points = Marshmallows
You earn Marshmallows by carrying out, among other things, one of the following actions:
- By creating an account in the Gugguu Candy World loyalty programme
- By shopping at Gugguu (you receive 1 Marshmallow for every €1 you spend)
- By following us on Instagram and liking us on Facebook
- By subscribing to WhatsApp messages
- By subscribing to the newsletter, you will receive a -10% discount code for regularly priced products. Please note that most tier-specific benefits and discount codes are sent by email.
You will receive Marshmallows in your account as soon as the order you placed has been delivered to you.
To earn Marshmallows from orders, you must log in with your email address and password. You can decide when and how you want to use the discount coupons obtained with Marshmallows. Marshmallows are valid for 12 months from their issue date. You use Marshmallows at checkout when placing orders with Gugguu. When you are logged in to your customer account, you can see your number of Marshmallows at checkout and choose how many Marshmallows you want to use as a discount on your order.
You cannot use Marshmallows at the same time as another coupon or discount code. Marshmallows cannot be redeemed for cash. The Marshmallows you earn are personal and cannot be transferred to another person or member.
If you return a product, the Marshmallows you earned with the purchase will be automatically deducted from your loyalty account. Marshmallows can only be redeemed once and cannot be redeemed for cash or gift cards. Product returns are subject to Gugguu's return policy. When a product is returned, only the amount paid for the product is refunded, not the amount including the discount received.
5. Gugguu's Candy World loyalty tier
Your loyalty membership begins on the day you join the loyalty programme. When you join the loyalty programme, you can immediately start collecting Marshmallows. You can advance to the next Candy World tier as soon as you reach the tier limit. Your tier is checked again annually and is determined according to the tier limits. You remain at your new Candy World tier for 12 months from the day you reached the tier.
After this:
- You remain at your tier if your purchases during the previous 12 months still exceed the tier limit.
- You will drop to a lower tier if your purchases during the previous 12 months do not exceed the tier limit. However, you can always move back up to a higher tier when the annual spending limit is reached again.
Gugguu's Candy World tier annual spending limits are as follows:
- Candy €0-€250 / year
- Candy Bar €250-€600 / year
- Candy Bag €600-€1,200 / year
- Candy Box over €1,200 / year
At the loyalty customer levels you can receive various benefits:
- Free delivery with 100 Marshmallows. The benefit applies to deliveries costing €4.90 and can be used for orders of at least €50. (Candy Bar and Candy Bag levels.)
- Always free delivery (Candy Box)
- Various campaign benefits and discount codes. Please note that most level-specific benefits and discount codes are sent by email. (All levels.)
- 100 Marshmallow level reward (Candy Bag)
- Early access to selected campaigns. Please note that most level-specific benefits and discount codes are sent by email. (Candy Bag and Candy Box)
6. Loyalty customer discount voucher and terms of useThe following discount vouchers can be redeemed with Marshmallows:
- 100 Marshmallows entitle you to a €5 discount code, minimum purchase amount €85
- 200 Marshmallows entitle you to a €10 discount code, minimum purchase amount 90€
- 300 Marshmallows entitle you to a €15 discount code, minimum purchase amount €100
Marshmallows can be redeemed for a discount voucher in Gugguu's online store through your own customer account. Discount vouchers can only be used in Gugguu's online store and cannot be used at Pop Up events. However, purchases made at Pop Up events accrue Marshmallows to the customer's Candy World account. Redeemed discount vouchers cannot be converted back into Marshmallows. Marshmallows are accrued when purchasing a gift card. When paying with a gift card, a loyalty customer will no longer accrue Marshmallows.
As a loyalty customer, you receive various benefits intended for loyalty customers, such as being among the first to hear about our new products and campaigns. Some loyalty customer benefits depend on whether you are at the Candy, Candy Bar, Candy Bag, or Candy Box level. We are continuously developing the Gugguu Candy World loyalty program.
By using a discount voucher, you accept its terms of use.
The minimum purchase amounts specified above apply when using discount vouchers, depending on the value of the discount voucher.
The discount voucher can be used on products already on sale, but it cannot be combined with other discount or campaign codes for online store purchases. You can use only one discount voucher at a time. A discount voucher can only be used once. Discount vouchers earned are valid for 6 months from the date they were earned.
7. Customer communications and processing of personal data
We generally contact you by email, but also via WhatsApp messages if you accept SMS marketing. By accepting these terms, you agree to receiving benefit and customer communications. You can always unsubscribe from a communication channel through the messages we send.
Gugguu processes the loyalty program member's personal data as permitted and required by the applicable data protection legislation. Information about the processing of personal data and the loyalty program member's rights is available in the privacy notice published on the website.
Gugguu processes personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The data controller is Gugguu Oy (business ID 2508855-5). When you register as a loyalty program member and make purchases, information about your purchases and how else you use our services is stored. Gugguu Oy processes your personal data as a loyalty program member, among other things, to provide offers, loyalty benefits and the best possible service.
You are responsible for all activity that takes place in your loyalty account. The loyalty program member is responsible for the security and safekeeping of their login details. We recommend using a secure password and changing it when necessary.
Gugguu may update/change the tier limits/loyalty program terms. When the loyalty program terms are changed, the updated terms will be published on the website gugguu.com. The terms currently in force are available on the website gugguu.com. If you do not accept the terms, you always have the right to terminate your membership. If we have reasonable grounds to suspect unauthorised use or misuse of our services, a breach of our loyalty program terms, fraud or other similar events or conduct, Gugguu has the right to terminate your membership.
8. Termination of loyalty program membership
A loyalty program member may terminate their membership with immediate effect at any time by notifying Gugguu's customer service by email at customer@gugguu.com.
Gugguu Oy is not liable for any system errors or malfunctions in the loyalty program or for losses caused by changes to the loyalty program.
Gugguu is not liable for failing to fulfil its obligations under the loyalty program terms or for damage resulting from circumstances beyond Gugguu's control, such as laws, actions by authorities, war, strikes, blockades, lockouts or other similar circumstances (force majeure).
