Stories from our customers - From firstborn to big sister and the wonderful purchases during pregnancy

Four years ago, my husband and I were expecting our first child. During the pregnancy, I wrote a list on my phone of all the things to acquire: car seat, stroller, nest, crib, bedding, sheets, pacifiers, baby bottles, breast pump, baby monitor, car seat cover, stroller canopy, bodysuits, pants, tights... The list was long, and I wanted to choose each purchase carefully. Instead of the maternity package, I decided to take the maternity grant as cash so I could get exactly the clothes I really liked.

Shortly before the baby was born, I was given a baby shower. Almost all my female relatives were there, who had done their best in organizing the celebration. Besides the unforgettable party, I received many wonderful gifts. Among the gifts were also adorable clothes from Gugguu's first baby collection. I immediately fell in love especially with the garden rose pattern, from which I got leggings, bodysuits, a frill dress, and a bodysuit.

During pregnancy, I planned various outfit combinations in advance that I wanted the baby to wear. After the firstborn was born, I noticed that mostly easy-to-wear clothes were chosen, with the bodysuit becoming a favorite. It allowed the baby's hands to be hidden if desired, and diaper changes were easy. Especially wrap bodysuits were heavily used, and for special occasions like Father's Day, a cute frill dress was chosen.

When my firstborn was just under three months old, my sister had a baby girl, and all the clothes that had become too small were immediately passed on. After that, our family grew with many more babies who got to wear these sweet patterns in their first months. Altogether, the clothes were worn by five cousin girls before finally coming back to us.

When my daughter turned 3 years old, I took a positive pregnancy test. My firstborn was already old enough to understand what was going on. "When will the baby be born? I can't wait," was often heard from my firstborn. The wait felt long to the child, but to the parents, time flew by incredibly fast, much faster than when waiting for the first.

While washing and folding small clothes, memories from my firstborn's baby days came to mind. It felt incredible to dress my own child in these tiny clothes again. The clothes had been truly tested over four years but were still in good condition. It felt good knowing they had brought joy to so many, and I believe they will be used many more times in the future.
